Syllabus for RRB NTPC Examination

RRB NPTC CBT-1: In this test, there are three sections. They are General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. These three sections carry marks equivalent to 40, 30, and 30 respectively. The maximum number of questions is 100.
RRB NPTC CBT-2: This test is very similar to the first one. RRB NTPC CBT-2 consists of three sections. They are General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. However, they carry marks equivalent to 50, 35, and 35 respectively. The maximum number of questions is 120.
Note: An aspirant must qualify for both these tests to advance to the next three stages
of the RRB NPTC examination.
Typing Test: This test is a skill-based exam that is qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in this test won’t be counted in the final merit list. This test is conducted for the number of total candidates equal to that of eight-time the number of vacancies. Candidates are required to write 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Medical Examination Phase: Aspirants will have to pass the medical test conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the medical tests conducted by RRB. After the medical test, document verification takes place. Based on the performance in the second stage of the RRB NTPC examination, a candidate is called for document verification.
