With theInternational Women’s Day themeof #PressforProgress, we wanted to know what women most want to see their employers to focus on in 2018. Here’s what we learned.
Time’s Up for the Pay Gap
Pay equality is still top of mind and the top priority for working women. 34% of the women we surveyed selected “Review salaries and correct gender pay gaps” as the number one way they want their companies to press for progress.
And while we’re seeing more and more companies make a commitment to equal pay for equal work, whether that’s bygoing the Salesforce routeand conducting and audit and making the necessary increases for women (to the tune of millions of dollars in that particular case), or by choosing a more surprising route andlowering men’s compensationas we saw from the BBC, there’s still a lot of work to do.
Pay equality isn’t the only priority. Here’s a breakdown of the survey findings:

We’re big fans of this year’s #PressforProgress hashtag. We built InHerSight to do exactly that.
